·
During the week the Entium team met to
review the UN Certificate Checklist for developing the reports for
deliverables 2, 3, and 4 and to start preparations for presenting a model for
the DAP. ·
Met with
Adhriatha Keefe and Tony Newton to conduct the Pilot Business Unit
interview with the UN Secretariat: 1.
The interview on Thursday progressed well using
the Business Unit Questionnaire (BUQ).
Based on the interview results only minor adjustments to the BUQ are
required 2.
Discussed the Sampling Matrix and
determined that the best approach for collecting samples and pertinent
documents would be to distribute the sample matrix package along with the BUQ. The Sampling Matrix will include: §
Instructions and definitions §
Set of high level questions relative to what
type of digital records and documents that would be applicable for archival
value. §
Glossary of Terms would be updated by
Entium and sent to Adhriatha next week for posting on the WG-ARM web site. §
A matrix 3.
When Sean Rickert has received the
responses from the Sampling Matrix, he will schedule meetings with
respondents and further analyze the records and documents identified as
having digital archival value. 4.
Bob Turner, Christine Ardern, and Sean
Rickert recommend to the Adhriatha Keefe and Tony Newton that for the
remainder of December we would develop a diagram that best represents what
type of data would support a Digital Archive Program. In this effort we would also review the
responses to the questionnaires and create a matrix identifying gaps. 5.
Due to the holiday schedule and vacations
it was recommended that our next meeting would be during the first week of
January with Dhurjati and Tony to schedule the Business Unit interviews. Tentatively we will complete all the
interview and sampling process by the end of February 2005. |
